السادة أولياء أمور طلاب الصف الحادي عشر إلى الصف الثالث عشر الكرام،

نود إبلاغكم بأن الدروس التفاعلية المباشرة ستبدأ يوم الاثنين الموافق 6 أبريل وذلك ضمن إطار التزامنا المستمر بضمان جودة تعليمية عالية لجميع الطلاب، سيتم وضع جداول الدروس وروابط الزوم الخاصة بتسجيل الحضور و اجتماعات التوجيه من المسؤول الرعوي والاجتماعات العامة مع طلاب الصفوف من الحادي عشر إلى الثالث عشر على صفحة المعلم الرعوي الخاص بكل صف، كما سيتم وضع روابط الزوم الخاصة بكل مادة على صفحة المادة المعنية، لذلك نرجو التأكد من مراجعة الصفحات بانتظام للاطلاع على التحديثات وكيفية الوصول إليها.

سيكون محتوى الدروس التفاعلية المباشرة متوافقًا مع العمل المقدم على منصة السيسو أو عبر البريد الالكتروني أو الروابط الموجودة على الرابط الخاص بأعمالهم (One Drive)، سيتم تصحيح الإجابات البسيطة وتقديم الملاحظات عبر تطبيق السيسو؛ أما الإجابات الأخرى فستكون عبر روابط (One Drive) أو البريد الالكتروني، سيستفيد الطلاب الذين يحضرون دروس البث المباشر التفاعلية من الدعم والتوجيه والتقييم الفوري من معلميهم خلال تلك الدروس.

نحن نشجع بشدة جميع الطلاب على حضور هذه الدروس المباشرة بقدر الإمكان؛ حيث سيُعزز ذلك التفاعل ويتيح فرصًا قيمة للتواصل والتوضيح، يجب على طلاب الصفوف من الحادي عشر إلى الثالث عشر التواصل مع معلميهم لطلب المساعدة عبر ترك رسالة صوتية أو كتابية عبر منصة السيسو، كما ينبغي عليهم الاستمرار في استخدام دفاتر  تخطيط الواجبات المنزلية لتسجيل المهام المطلوبة منهم ليتم إنجازها بشكل دوري.

سيكون هناك تسجيل يومي للحضور في تمام الساعة 9.00 صباحًا، و سيتم وضع الرابط على صفحة المعلم المسؤول (رائد الصف)، كما أنني سأعقد اجتماعات لتوضيح آخر المستجدات المتعلقة بامتحانات الشهادة البريطانية (GCSE) وامتحانات المستوى المتقدم (IAL)، سيتم التقييم وفقًا لمنهجية منظمة تحددها هيئة الامتحانات، لذلك سيؤثر عدم حضور الدروس المباشرة على التقييم النهائي، إلا في الحالات الطارئة التي تتطلب توثيقًا رسميًا، نحن نعمل حاليًا على وضع بروتوكول المدرسة، حيث أنني لم أتلق الإخطار الرسمي بصفتي مدير مركز الامتحانات إلا ظهر يوم الخميس، سيتم إطلاع أولياء الأمور والطلاب على تفاصيل البروتوكول، سيحصل الطلاب الملتزمون بالإجراءات التي تحددها المدرسة والتي تقرها هيئة الامتحانات على الدرجة كالمعتاد؛ إلا أن هذا ليس خيارًا سهلًا لذلك يجب التعامل مع العملية بأكملها بمنهى الجدية.

Dear Grade  11-13 Parents,

We would like to inform you that live online lessons continue Monday 6^th April as part of our continued commitment to ensuring high-quality learning for all students. All lesson timetables and zoom links for registration, pastoral meetings and general meetings for grade 11-13 will be shared on their mentor groups pages. All subject Zoom links will be posted on the relevant subject for the student, so please ensure they check regularly for updates and access information.

The content delivered during live lessons will be fully aligned with the work provided on Seesaw or through email or one drive links. Marking and feedback will be through seesaw for simple answers otherwise on one drive links or by email. Students attending live lessons will benefit from immediate support, guidance, and feedback from their teacher during Zoom sessions.

We strongly encourage all students to attend live lessons where possible, as this will enhance engagement and provide valuable opportunities for interaction and clarification. Students in G11-13 need to ensure they contact their teachers for help by leaving a voice message or written message on seesaw. Also, they should continue using their homework planners to record what they are required  to complete as an ongoing record.

There will be daily registration at 09.00 am and mentors will place the link on the mentor group page. Also I will be holding meetings to clarify latest information on GCSE and IAL examinations. Students will be assessed and in a very structured  way given by the examination board. Non-attendance for live lessons will impact on their overall assessment unless for emergency reasons which will require certified verification. Currently we are establishing the school protocol as formal notification was only received by me as Head of Centre on Thursday afternoon. What this entails will be shared both with students and parents. Students who are compliant with the procedures given by the school and endorsed by the examination board will receive a grade as usual; however this is not an easier option so the whole process needs to be taken seriously.

All subject Zoom links will be posted on the relevant subject for the student, so please ensure they check regularly for updates and access information.

For students who are unable to attend live sessions, all learning activities will be replicated on Seesaw to ensure continuity and accessibility. Marking and feedback will continue as normal through Seesaw. In addition, students attending live lessons will benefit from immediate support, guidance, and feedback from their teacher during Zoom sessions.

We strongly encourage all students to attend live lessons where possible, as this will enhance engagement and provide valuable opportunities for interaction and clarification. السادة أولياء الأمور المحترمين،،،،

آمل أن تكونوا جميعًا بخير وسلامة. وبناءً على الإجراءات الاحترازية التي توليها الحكومة كأولوية قصوى لسلامة سكان دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، صدر توجيه من وزارة التعليم بتمديد فترة التعليم عن بُعد حتى يوم الجمعة 17 أبريل الجاري، على أن يكون هذا القرار قابلاً للتعديل من قبل الحكومة إذا رأت تغييره.

ونظرًا لتعاملنا مع عدد من العوامل الخارجة عن سيطرتنا فيما يتعلق بتقديم التعليم عن بُعد لأبنائكم، ينبغي النظر إلى هذه العملية على أنها إجراء مستمر في الفترة الحالية. تضم المدرسة مجموعة واسعة ومتنوعة من أولياء الأمور، ذوي التزامات وظروف ومتطلبات مختلفة، وقد حاولنا في تخطيطنا مراعاة هذه الاختلافات. ومع ذلك، عند تقديم الخدمة لطلاب تتراوح أعمارهم بين 4 و18 عامًا، لا يمكن دائمًا تلبية جميع الطلبات الفردية على مستوى المدرسة، نظرًا لأن الاحتياجات غالبًا ما ترتبط بالفئة العمرية. إذا كانت أسرتك تواجه صعوبة في الوصول إلى التعليم عن بُعد، فيُرجى إرسال بريد إلكتروني على العنوان admin@fpa.sch.ae.

اعتبارًا من يومي الاثنين 6 والثلاثاء 7 أبريل، سنقدم بشكل أساسي دروسًا مباشرة (لايف)، على أن تُستخدم منصة “سيسو” للمراسلات ورفع الأعمال لتصحيحها. سيتم إرسال تعليمات محددة عبر منصة “سيسو” للوصول إلى الجداول الزمنية وروابط الدروس، وسيتم إرسالها تحت إشراف السيدة نيكي ماكنزي – رئيسة المرحلة الابتدائية، والسيدة نيكولا كيلي – رئيسة المرحلة المتوسطة والمديرة التنفيذية، والسيدة جان بريتنجهام – رئيسة المرحلة الثانوية ومديرة المدرسة، والسيد ممدوح صلاح – رئيس المناهج العربية.

نظرًا لأن الطلاب قد يحتاجون إلى أدوات من المدرسة، نطلب منكم إرسال بريد إلكتروني على admin@fpa.sch.ae  يتضمن الاسم الكامل للطالب، واسم الأب الأول، واسم العائلة، واسم المعلم بالإضافة إلى الصف، لتتمكن الإدارة من العثور على الكتب الصحيحة. يمكن إرسال هذه الرسالة عبر تطبيق واتساب على جوال المدرسة 0504345358 أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني أعلاه. سيسمح ذلك للمسؤول المنظم لهذه العملية بالحصول على المواد بسرعة، وسيتصل بكم لاستلامها من الأمن. نطلب منكم أيضًا التحقق من رسائل الهاتف النصية (SMS) القادمة من المدرسة، حيث سأرسل من خلالها الرسائل العاجلة.

Dear Parents,

I hope you all are safe and well. As a precautionary measure in response to governments’ high priority to the  safety of the UAE population, a directive has been issued  by the Ministry of  Education that online learning period has been extended to Friday 17^th April  at this time. This is subject to amendment by the government should they decide to alter this.

As we are dealing with a number of factors out of our control in bringing distance  learning to your children, this needs to be seen as an ongoing procedure. The school has a very diverse parent body, with many different commitments, circumstances and requirements we have been trying to accommodate these in our planning. However, when providing for students with an age range  4-18 it is not always possible to accommodate all individual requests across the school as requirements are often age related. If your family finds that they are having difficulty accessing distance learning, then please email admin@fpa.sch.ae. I would like to thank the majority of our parents for the positive interface and collaboration given, however, a polite reminder to all, that communication with the school staff should remain respectful and conversations polite as they are trying to assist. We understand that that the situation is stressful for all and this does include the faculty of the school and the support staff.

Commencing Monday 6^th and Tuesday 7^th we will be offering mainly  live lessons, but seesaw will be used for messaging, and the uploading work for marking. Specific instructions will be sent on seesaw for accessing of timetables and links for the lessons these will be sent under the direction of Ms Nicky Mackenzie Head of Primary, Ms Nicola Kelly Head of Middle School and Executive Headteacher, Ms Jan Brettingham- Head of Secondary and Principal and Mr Mamdouh Salah Head of Arabic Curriculum.

As students may need items from school, we are asking that you email admin@fpa.sch.ae with the full name of the student, first name of father, family name, name of teacher plus class so they can find the correct books. This message can be on What’s App on the school mobile 050 434 5358 or by email as above. This will allow the administrator organizing this process to obtain materials quickly and will call to collect them from security. We ask that you please check for SMS messages from the school as I will send these for urgent communication.
