Dear G1 and G2 parents,

You are invited to the school production of ‘Ellie the Penguin Saves the World’ next week. We are keeping the audience small so out Grade 1 and 2 students feel more comfortable and all can have a good view.

We request you attend for one performance in the small gym as follows please:

– Monday 24th G1 Red and Grade 2 Red

– Tuesday 25th Grade 1 Green and Grade 2 Green

– Wednesday 26th Grade 1 Blue and Grade 2 Blue.

Performances will start at 08.15 and be finished by 09.00 am. Children will go back to class with their teacher after this.

To comply with our privacy policy parents may take photographs of their children only and absolutely no photographs of adults either staff or parents please. We look forward to seeing you.

Dear Parents,

Sports Day for Grades 3-5 will take place Thursday 20th February on the football pitch and basketball courts. All parents are welcome. It starts at 08.15 am and finishes at 09.30 am. Please park in the main car park at the front of the school and entry is through the main admin gate not the Primary gate. Children should bring lunch and plenty to drink and will need to remain in school until 15.00 after the events. We look forward to seeing you.

Dear 7.1 Parents,

A reminder that the postponed trip to the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology, as part of their studies in Science will take place with Ms Safia and Mr James is on Wednesday 19^thFebruary. This is part of the assessable curriculum. Students should be in their school PE kit for safety reasons (ease of identification); however, girls who wear an abaya should do so over their PE kit. Please call Ms Hanan in the school office if you have any questions.

Dear G11 and G12 parents,

I hope you are well. The entries for the Pearson and Cambridge examinations will be made soon. The EID’s for Emirati students and the information page of the passport of non- nationals were requested. May I thank those who have sent these already, however if they are still pending please send by Wednesday 12^th February to Ms Hanan on admin@fpa.sch.ae.

Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that we are going to send the mid -year reports in next few days and due to the volume they will be issued by grade. These will go to the main family email address held by the office. Also a reminder that as per the approved calendar, school will be closed from Monday 10th February to Friday 14th February. We will re-open on Monday 17th February at the usual time.

Dear KG1 Blue Parents,

I hope all are well. I wish to inform you that Ms Tina KG1 Blue teacher,  has had to return to the UK on an urgent leave of absence. Ms Bridget Farquharson, who you may know as a section leader of our Kindergarten is now taking her class. Ms Bridget has many years experience of teaching KG. We are trying to keep unavoidable disruption to a minimum and please address any concerns to Ms Bridget or Ms Hanan in the office.
