Emirati Children’s Day

Dear Parents,

The UAE celebrates Emirati Children’s Day Wednesday 15th  March every year. The school will hold a series of age appropriate activities across the school to raise the students awareness of their rights to a healthy, safe and supportive environment for their development. The school will focus on their responsibilities as well as their rights and in seniors the discussion will review the moral purpose of the awareness programme. Younger children will be involved in activities  and learn to identify and  express how they feel about a healthy, safe and supportive environment.

Kindly telephone Ms Hanan if you have any questions about the day’s events.

Best wishes,

G1 & G2 Production

Dear Parents of Grade 1 & 2,

We would like to invite you to the Infant Production of ‘Welcome to the Rock pool’ next week. So that we can organise the audience in smaller groups parents are invited as follows:

Tuesday 14th March – Grade 1 Red and 2 Grade Red parents

Wednesday 15th March-Grade 1 Blue and Grade 2 Blue parents

Thursday 16th March- Grade 1 Green, Grade 1 Yellow and Grade 2 Green parents

The children performing remain the same over these three days. A smaller audience will give a better view for parents and the children will find it easier to perform. The performances are 08.30 am-9.10 am in the small gym. There will be a waiting area for parents who arrive early.

Could I ask parents to leave their children as usual and then proceed to the waiting area. A reminder that parents may photograph their own children only, for safeguarding reasons. Do not photograph staff or other adults without their permission. These are the E safety protocols of the school. Thank you for your co-operation. The Grade 1 & 2 teams look forward to seeing you on the designated day next week.

If you have any questions on this kindly ask Ms Nicola Kelly Primary /Middle School Headteacher or Ms Hanan in the school office.

Regards,

Jan Brettingham Principal
